- Professor Kennerson Co-Chaired a Genetics Expert Panel for the CMT Research Foundation Patient Day held in Boston, USA for the 2022 Global CMT Research Convention.
- Dr Bianca Grosz was awarded the ANZAC Concord Grants-In-Aid Early Career Funding ($25,000) for work to study RFC1 in an Australian cohort of Hereditary Sensory neuropathy families.
- Dr Anthony Cutrupi was awarded the ANZAC Concord Grants-In-Aid Open Category Funding ($5,000) for his work in Motor Neuron Disease.

- Characterised the first knock in mouse model for X-linked distal motor neuropathy.
- First to report structural variation mutations causing gene dysregulation as a new genetic disease mechanism for CMT and hereditary motor neuropathy.
